The profound significance of Trump's tariffs. Don't listen to the easy and self-absolving mainstram that describes Trump as evil and crazy. A Latin saying goes, "Trahit sua quemque voluptas."

Trump is bad!
Trump is bad!
He wants to destroy Europe and other countries. This is the mainstream that low-level politicians, not to mention excellent failed comedians, want to tell their citizens who are subjects and poorly educated.
But what does Trump have to do with the collapse of the GDP of Great Britain or Europe and the great leap forward of Chinese totalitarianism?
Nothing!
The blame lies with those comedian politicians responsible for the European disaster.
In 2001, China's economic weight was comparable to that of France; since 2001, when China entered the WTO, its economic weight has exceeded the entire Eurozone.
Who won and who lost?
And to think that there are still those today who claim to look to China to counter Trump's tariff policy.
Aren't you satisfied with the damage that the Chinese have done to Western economies?
No?
It won't be easy to bring Western industry back to the United States but it's not impossible.
For manufacturing to develop, it needs strong industrial support structures to develop comprehensive capabilities, connect with each other, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
It needs the state and real medium- and long-term macroeconomic and industrial policies.
China has created two major manufacturing centers: the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. There are many industrial parks in each place. Various enterprises are integrated through industrial parks, which provide support and various preferential policies for enterprises. Are there such industrial parks in the United States or European countries?
To restart manufacturing, there needs to be enough talents who have received basic training and work hard. As well as talents in the emerging fields of digitalization, etc.
Are young people in the West willing to sacrifice themselves to rebuild their future?
With aggressive and coercive policies, China took less than 30 years to reach the world top, also through medium and long-term macroeconomic policies with the aim of trying to achieve self-sufficiency from the West, both in exports and in raw materials and energy. It is Xi Jinping's macroeconomic plan of dual circulation that aims to develop exports to friendly countries such as BRI, AESAN and the South of the world.
In the future, Europe will be less and less interesting to China, also in the geopolitical as well as commercial vision.
I believe that Trump's immediate goal is not to bring industries back to America, at least in the short term. Reshoring requires large public investments, medium and long-term macroeconomic policies that require high politics and also foreign investments.
an ancient Chinese adage says; "My neighbor accumulates grain and I accumulate weapons. My neighbor is my granary".
Without the protection of aircraft carriers, planes, cannons, satellites and missiles, will American capitalists be able to feel at ease?
No!
No one would be in any country in the world.
Therefore, Trump's immediate goal is to use tariffs to create a limited and closed domestic economic environment to support certain basic and defense industries in the United States, in order to support military construction and then dedicate himself to true committed reshoring.
There is no free market without national security.
Globalization 1.0 has ignored this assumption by fueling a crazy, harmful, limitless and borderless globalization by preordaining easy gains to the national security of the state.
And China has also taken advantage of this on the global hegemonic level.
America does not want to replace China with the United States. The immediate goal of the United States is to
suppress the Chinese manufacturing industry at all costs.
Because this Chinese industry, which we Westerners have fueled to our detriment, is the lifeblood of the Chinese Communist Party and its totalitarianism that it intends to impose on a part of the world, through a new violent and genocidal Sinocentric world order.
The final lesson is: choose better the politicians who will have your destiny and that of your children in their hands. European politicians have demonstrated their total ineptitude and the damage is there for all to see!
"Trahit sua quemque voluptas" is a Latin proverb: "everyone is attracted by what he likes".
